I continue to be enamored with plants and flowers. No two are exactly the same. This magnolia blossom is my favorite of many I painted using watercolor. I love the variation of the white throughout the petals and the simplicity of the composition of the single bloom. The magnolia is the state flower to both Louisiana and Mississippi.
