This is a hand painted abstract of cliffs in a canyon with sky, clouds, and a hint of sunshine. This is a departure from my abstract landscapes. This piece is where I intentionally deconstruct a particular landscape.I call it free form painting done with a larger brush. From there I start to walk around the painting to see if it needs a different view point. With a simple turn of the painting it becomes a new landscape with just a bit of twist. As always, the big area of color is meant to be the space to breathe and take in the view!
