This oil painting combines two of my favorite things - fruit and vintage dishes. I hoped to create a modern version of a classic still life. I originally painted a patterned, colorful tablecloth in the background, but felt it was too distracting. This piece may be paired with Peaches on a Plate, Pears on a Plate, and Lemons on a Plate.
