Our handmade bench seat features a solid oak base with hand woven, natural Danish cord for an elegant and comfortable seat. Danish cord is a strong, three-ply, paper cord roughly 1/8” in diameter known for its durability - lasting 60 years before needing to be replaced. Each bench is individually and lovingly made in Lancaster by a Mennonite husband and wife team in their small farmhouse shop.
