Sometimes called, "unicorns of the sea," narwhals have inspired me with their beauty and mystique. I aimed to capture this feeling of mystery using the cool blue tones and to highlight the interesting textures of their speckled backs. In this piece, I explored watercolor textures, lines, and a monochromatic color palette.
