This series is pure experiment. I spent a day doing a few different collections of acrylic paintings to blow off steam and get my hands moving in tune with my heart. None of the resulting pieces felt quite right to me, but there were moments in each piece that I drew me in. When I came back to the work, I decided to arrange all these little moments into new pieces using digital collage techniques. The flora collection bloomed from a combination of spontaneity and deliberateness, a marriage of expression and purpose that speaks to both heart and mind.
