This is part of a series of inkblots influenced by brain imagery. After undergoing brain surgery in 2014, I became particularly interested in brain images from before and after my surgery. This series is focused on the juxtapositions of the body/mind and natural/scientific worlds and how they create a visual conversation. This particular inkblot reminds me of the California sunshine of my childhood.
