I find inspiration in unique contrasts, perspectives and juxtapositions. In this particular painting I wanted to emphasize an active and changing sky. Juxtaposing the undulating fog with the calm water and idle watercraft was a way for me to highlight an otherwise less dominant feature in seascapes.
