When I started these paintings I had a clear idea of the direction but the painting ultimately decides the final outcome. This painting is part of a pair and was created with a neutral palette of blue, ocher, sage green and white. I worked the stripes of paint with a variety of brushes to saturate the colors creating a fresh and balanced composition.
