Inspired by the many landscapes in California. I lived there for a bit and had so much fun taking photographs of the various destinations. This painting is in memory of a hazy springtime morning with mist over the horizon. My brushstrokes are purposely placed to invoke a sense of movement and calm.I want the viewer to feel as if they could fall into the landscape just like I do.
