The inspiration for this photo is the prominent wrought iron that is featured throughout old New Orleans architecture and in our unique grave yards. Wrought iron features date back to the occupation of New Orleans by the Spanish from 1763-1801. I think it is an artwork in its own right and I love to make photos depicting the wrought iron structures.
