This drone image is of the city of Lahaina on the island of Maui. Lahaina was once the capital of the Kingdom of Hawaii from 1802 to 1845. In the 19th century, this city was the hub of the global whaling industry, with dozens of ships docked in and outside the harbor. At present day, this city provides locals and tourists with a wide selection of restaurants, shops and live entertainment. On Maui, Lahaina has always been one of my favorite places to visit because of its local charm and welcoming vibe.
