I have been drawing horses for as long as I can remember. They were the first animal I learned to draw, and as a child, I spent countless hours memorizing everything I could about these majestic animals. In this watercolor, I gave the mare dapple-grey markings, which I've always thought was the most beautiful of all the coat colors.
