This original piece was done on film paper with acrylic inks and pen. The influence of florals and botanicals in nature are the inspriration for this abstract and contemporary study. I find that slowing down and really looking at the beauty that surrounds us can help us appreciate the world we live in. My process is intuitive and not planned. Layers of paint and water are layered onto the paper and then once it dries, pen and ink are added to create my own alternate botanical world.
