As a painter, I spend a lot of time observing and photographing the sky throughout the course of the day. The sky inspires my painting practice and often serves as part of my works. In this stand-alone piece, I digitally altered a photograph of the Brooklyn sky to accurately reflect the intense color and feeling when surrounded by sky seen from the top of tall buildings.
