I am a painter living and working in a high-rise in Downtown Brooklyn, so I spend a lot of time observing and photographing the sky throughout the course of the day. The sky inspires my painting practice and often serves as a main subject in my works. In this stand-alone piece, I digitally altered a photograph of the Brooklyn sky to accurately reflect the intense color and feeling when surrounded by sky in a tall building.
