Texas is beautiful, but add snow and it is a sight to behold. This painting is inspired by snow on the grasslands of Texas just east of my hometown and incorporates the crisp, bright colors that are seen the day after the storm. I feel energized on those chilly days so there is a lot of movement in this piece.
