Having grown up in Southern California, I have never really experienced beaches with grasses that blow delicately in the wind. However, I am so drawn to imagery of beachgrass. One day I am sure to get an opportunity to travel to places that the sand is bright white and the beachgrass dance in the breeze. British Columbia is definatly on my list of places to go! This painting is a combination of water color and soft pastel.
