This is a monochromatic photo that was made in the early morning on Guste Island in Madisonville, Louisiana. Guste Island is situated on Lake Pontchartrain in the deep south of Louisiana. The early morning hours often produce the quiet photos that inspire me the most. Water is a recurring theme throughout most of my work. I love the water and feel very lucky that I live on the water and am able to use it in my work regularly.
