Flowers are one the greatest beauties of this world. They come in all different shapes, colors, textures, scents, and they leave the viewer mesmerized. Ink Flowers No. 16 is part of a larger series where I showcase both the simplicity and complexity of a flower simultaneously. This is achieved with layers of brushstrokes that transition from thick to thin. The use of whitespace is just as important as the brushstrokes themselves, helping to give the illusion of petals.
