Vase of flowers, flowers bouquets and floral arrangements are a passion of mine. It comes from child memories and goes on into gardening and ceramic vases making. Not surprisingly this love is evident at an endless number of sketches, paintings, collages, doodles, and the list goes on. In this example, part of a series of experiments, I play with the digital superposition of two different drawings, using touches of India ink and lots of oil pastel crayons, showcasing a very loose and spontaneous approach to the subject. The support is an off-white paper. Play and experiment are the tonic of those vase of flowers.
