They say our sense of smell is more closely tied to memory than our other senses. Nothing brings back childhood vacations more for me than the smell of pine trees on a warm sunny day. Instantly I feel transported to the Colorado Rocky Mountains, where we spent many summers. This photo gives me the same feeling of joy I have being surrounded by nature, light filtering through the trees.
