This hand-drawn piece is inspired by the wreaths we display each year during the Advent season leading up to Christmas, as a reminder to prepare our hearts for Jesus' birth with each candle we light. My children often bring home crafted wreaths from school, so my illustration draws on the simplicity of those construction paper creations.
