I create art that is heavily imaginative and often whimsical. Fantasy and invention are at the core of anything I create. Being more of an illustrator than a fine artist, my work is generally light and quirky. This piece is inspired by the row of trees on my street that silhouette themselves against the sky every dusk as the stars start to shine. I wanted to capture the twinkling moment when you can still see the black leaves agains the inky blue sky.
