This photograph was taken on a very foggy weekend in Venice, Italy. Traveling by boat around this iconic city, often all that was visible was fog and sea. Then slowly, to my delight, a cluster of buildings would emerged through the misty sky. How mysterious and beautiful Venice is in the fog! This print is part of a larger body of photographs that capture moments of stillness in cities.
