Although I love our Southern California sunshine, there is nothing more serene and calming than walking the coastline on an overcast morning when the sky is soft and the sea is a swirl of pastel blues, greens, and white. On this particular morning, the ocean was alive with swells and dotted with local surfers patiently floating on their boards as they scanned the seascape in search of the perfect wave, content and at home arms of the sea.
