Inspired by nature and my many tools that I used in my work. I used a paint scraper, white pencil and a graphite pencil to capture movement of foliage and rain in a tropical setting.The flowing brush strokes mimic the movement of plants, while experimenting pencil dashes cut through the space, creating an aerial dance of plants and wind. While most of the paint is contained within the restraints of the canvas, playful pencil marks break the boundaries.
