When it rains in California, the hills turn a verdant green. This color is short lived but so intense and beautiful. This piece was inspired by the green hills and flowers of California. Created using my technique of combining found images (the yellow rose) and my own hand-painted paper pieces, this densely layered collage is full of beautiful colors and lots of graphic white space for a lyrical and modern piece.
