Wisconsin has many simple and beautiful surroundings. Being near water is extremely important to me. I have been photographing for over 20 years and am transitioning back to my roots of fine art. When I am photographing nature I am drawn to the details of it. I photograph using a macro lens which allows me to capture elements that would otherwise not be seen by the human eye. The layers of petals & flowing shapes now become graphic and abstract in their form. Nature changes so quickly.
