This is a particular of a Staircase that Luigi Moretti, an italian architect, did in 1920. In my vision a staircase is an escape route. Like in a spiral you can escape — if only for one night — and find nature, wilderness, a bit of peace and then go back to your normal life with a slightly shifted perspective.
