Genesis No. 1 is the first in a pair of prints taken in Glacier Bay National Park, Alaska, that can stand alone or be hung together. The bay offers so many compelling contrasts from lush and verdant to stark and forbidding. In this pair of photos, I chose to strip them down to the bare bones to highlight the beautiful textures and strata, further enhancing the elements with the monochromatic presence of each colorway. Genesis No. 1 hung to the left side of Genesis No. 2 creates a modern dynamic pairing.
