In this piece, I've explored color, movement, and energy. Here, expressive line and translucent bright color, present in the background, signal a bold underlying optimism. These are visually balanced through the intermixing of soothing greys, while watery dark shades and saturated greens in the foreground lend an earthiness to the piece, for an overall composition suggestive of lands, both familiar and uncharted, and of the ever-changing skies that swirl about them.
