Colors and elements in motion slowly uncovering and taking shape of the future. It began with the idea of hope and encouragement that with time one can rise from their failures and turn them into an opportunity to "uncover" something unexpected. I personally had a rough 2022, so interspersing my emotions with the help of organic lines, bright colors and shadows brought me a lot of comfort as one of my first pieces of 2023. My process usually begins with watercolors on cold-pressed paper for added texture that I scan in high resolution to then digitally create numerous shapes with overlay effects. For this piece, I deliberately used the idea of transition in an eclipse where the hopeful future is rising above from a dark space to full light.
