Hiking on the island of Oahu in Hawaii, I looked up and saw leafless plumeria bubbles of flowers in the clear blue sky. In the end, I chose black and white to show their anatomical shape so clearly in this light. In many different cultures, the plumeria is a symbol of a new beginning, immortality, love, wealth, and much more. It is also aesthetically pleasing to the eye and fragrantly satisfying to the nose.
