In 2019 I traveled to The Netherlands specifically to photograph this most stunning of horse breeds, the Friesian. Over several days I had the incredible opportunity of photographing these beautiful creatures in various settings, alone, and in groups both small and large. On the first morning, I believe I let out an audible gasp when I saw the first Friesian, as he walked onto the field with such effortless and exquisite grace.
