This piece is one of several pieces from my collection called The Divide. The whole series is a celebration of life and death. I have lost four family members and my good friend and college roommate within the last two years. Each piece in this collection is made in memorial to my lost loved ones. The title of each piece correlates to a particular speech pattern or memory associated with each person. This piece was inspired by my good friend and college roommate, who passed away in childbirth, and left behind twin baby boys. This piece is in honor of her.
