The ‘Experiments with Film’ series explore two of the most basic elements in photography: Light and Colour. The aim is to focus solely on both elements without the inclusion of any human activity, which could divert the viewer from such basic principles. Hence the use of different techniques such as multiple exposure, the exposure of film to different light sources and the capture of images completely out of focus play a crucial role in the series.
