This painting was inspired by a series of photos I took on a rainy day as we drove along the Amalfi Coast on my honeymoon. The rain and motion of the bus created abstract blurs of color and texture that I translated into a series of digital paintings. The ambiguity and softness of the image allows for the viewer to use their imagination and explore the painting as they would a memory of a place they visited in the past.
