I would like my abstract colorful work to feel like short stories and fairytales; living with these pieces should continually reveal new details. The stories embedded in my artwork are about distances, writing letters by hand, small houses, watching the light at dusk, the ocean, and the sky. My process is color driven and intuitive and I build my collages from painted paper and found paper. This collage is made up of papers painted with cochineal and indigo ink, watercolor, and acrylic paint.
