This collage piece is created from remnants of my travels through Europe. Each piece of paper and linen fabric has its own story, such as the cocktail napkin from a bar in Helsinki, the train ticket stub from Spain, and walking map from Estonia. The end result is a visual memory of my travels.

My art is an on-going journey that has taken several detours in its life span. Presently, my work is full of layers with geometric and linear shapes that are created by hard-edge and underpainting techniques. Cool and warm colors are harmoniously displayed in my work which are inspired by my time exploring the great outdoors in America and Europe.
