bari is an intuitive + experimental artist, and on the one hand, a hallmark of her practice is diversity (of media, palette, format, unique juxtapositions) and on the other, her modern abstract work is unified by the common threads of bold contrast, saturated color, and rich texture as well as an often intense dialogic quality.
influenced by color, style, and places + spaces around the world, bari has lived in madrid, salamanca, and antwerp, and currently works out of her studio outside chicago.
