As a fan of vintage illustration I am often inspired by the artistry of classic design. This design was inspired by the bold color blocking and whimsical style of mid century modern illustrations. The geometric shapes were hand drawn to give the look of a hand painted touch. I envisioned this piece in a room with bright and cheerful colors, plenty of classic books, and a few vintage Disney toys.
