mixed materials table vase made of ceramic, plaster, handmade paper clay, pigment, and varnished for protection.
approximately 13" tall x 10" at widest x 5.5" at deepest. base is 5.5" square.
this vase is the accumulation of various failings and curiosities, like much of my work, taking one thing that didn't work and turning into something else. it is the physical accumulation of everything that failed and isn't that something? and isn't that what we all are?
while the interior is glazed ceramic and watertight, care should be taken with the outside material of the object.
