Each piece of paper in this collage is made of hand painted paper in gouache and ink. I create modern abstract collages exploring memories and place through color and form. This piece is part of a series of painted paper collages exploring empty spaces and things that go unsaid, especially with friends and family. Sometimes we forgot to tell people that we love them and miss them and sometimes we don't need to say anything because we carry the feelings in our hearts.
