Part of a series titled "Sanctuaries" which include landscapes and places in nature that provide a sense of refuge. This piece represents the quiet, perfect, peace of newly fallen snow. One of my favorite childhood memories is walking in the night just after the snow had fallen and not being able to hear a sound except the crunching beneath my feet.
