Inspired by peeling paint on old brick walls and nature.For this piece I used brushes, pencil, scrapers, and a palette knife. This was an intuitive painting. Nothing planned but planned. Watching the colors and how they played against each other just like the shapes and use of materials. Abstract paintings are a wonderful way to open the eye and see possibilities. This pairs with Sunset Ridge ll.
