A city girl moves to the country, not an unusual story, but we are talking New York City, and not just the country, but the "boonies". I always loved flowers, and growing things and a tiny balcony just never cut it. Now I have 27 acres of woods and 18 flower beds, a pond, an 1830 farmhouse, and hummingbirds and way too many bugs. It energizes me to make art with serenity and excitement at the same time and to see the landscape in new ways. I love the woods and walk in them every day! less
