The the tranquil Palos Verdes Peninsula in the South Bay of Los Angeles with its majestic sea cliffs is one of my favorite local escapes. Walking the trails high above the Pacific while watching the surf roll far below makes me feel a million miles removed from the hustle and bustle of the city's sprawl. (If you look carefully at the top of the small rock in the center, you will see that I'm not alone!) Photographed at golden hour on a warm September evening, it is my hope that this piece transports the viewer away from it all while evoking that same sense of serenity that I feel each time I wander this beautiful coastline.
