Frame Close-upDeer Isle, Maine; September 2015 I took this peaceful image right before chopping up the smooth waters with the coldest and shortest swim of my life. In retrospect, it was probably better viewed from above rather than within, but I'll never forget the thrill and the rush of this polar bear plunge.
